Labeling and Marking Requirements

Pre-packaged foodstuffs must be labeled to the relevant Codex standard.[1]  Some products must indicate “Vente au Senegal” (for sale in Senegal) including matches, cigarettes, bottled beverages, some batteries, candles, and fabrics.[2]  All marking and labeling requirements are in French.
