There is no specific labeling requirement for products exported to Somalia.  Label languages are mainly English and Arabic.  However, a few locally manufactured products are labeled in Somali. Locally manufactured products are required to be labeled ‘Product of Somalia.’ General labeling requirements include use, nutritional content, production and expiry dates, product serial numbers, barcodes, and handling.
