Imported food products must have English-language labels that detail product ingredients and expiration date.  If inadequately labeled, the Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency (ZCSA) could confiscate or destroy products without compensation.  Pharmaceutical products must also be labeled in English, detailing ingredients, recommended dosage, shelf life, and any cautionary notes.  More information on labeling and marking requirements can be found on the ZCSA website (https://www.zcsa.org.zm/)
