Prohibited goods include, among others, ivory, tortoise shells and other endangered animal products, underwater fishing guns, certain second-hand motor vehicles, certain second-hand motor vehicle parts and accessories, appliances containing chlorofluorocarbons, blue asbestos, COVID-19 rapid antibody tests, and any goods, including paintings, pictures, or designs, which can be considered as being against good morals or against public or religious morality.  A detailed list of prohibited goods is available online.

Restricted/controlled goods subject to an import permit include, among others, petroleum oils, rice, flour, COVID-19 home self-testing kits, drugs and psychotropic substances, firecrackers, arms and ammunition, and second-hand motor vehicles.  A detailed list of restricted imports is available online.
