At a minimum, imports require a declaration, an invoice, and transport documentation. The Customs Code of Georgia does not require financial guarantees from importers to Georgia prior to the customs clearance, except for the temporary entry of goods. Increasingly, as Georgia approximates more EU regulations, U.S. products that previously enjoyed market access to Georgia are now blocked. Please refer to the FSIS Export Library, the APHIS website, or the local Foreign Agricultural Service Office for more details.
