Gabon has implemented through its National Investment Promotion Agency (ANPI-Gabon) a system to help and promote trade financing of private investors.  In September 2020, ANPI-GABON signed an agreement for $900,000 with the African Financial Company (Cofina) to support SME activities.  Present at the 24th edition of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2021), which took place in June 2021, ANPI-Gabon and the Employers’ Confederation of Gabon (CPG) signed two protocol agreements for the promotion of business cooperation between Gabon and Russia as well as the creation of a Russia-Gabon Business Council.
