Estonia follows the EU import tariff schedule. The duties for non-European countries are relatively low, especially for manufactured goods (4.2 percent average rate). However, some sectors are still subject to protective measures, including textiles and clothing items (high duties and quota system), and the food-processing industry (average duties of a 17.3 percent and numerous tariff quotas).
