In January 2019, the government introduced the Provisional Additional Safeguard Duty (DAPS) duty regime for 1095 products.  This measure is intended to promote domestic production and reduce expenditures on foreign products, and DAPS duties range from 30 to 200 percent.  Specific information on import tariff rates can be found (in French) on the Algerian customs web page or at Customs Info Database Tariff Lookup Tool.
