Highlights of Ukraine Franchising Webinar 

Franchising is developing in Ukraine, which presents significant opportunities for investors, including U.S. firms.

On April 22, 2021, CS Ukraine held a virtual conference to inform U.S. franchisors about franchise market opportunities in Ukraine. Thanks to the great support from Eric Johnson, Franchise Industry Global Team Leader, 14 U.S. brands participated in the conference which featured speakers from AmCham Ukraine, Franchise Federation of Ukraine, Retail Association of Ukraine, DLA Piper, NielsenIQ, Nathan’s Famous, and others. The event was well-received, with a number of U.S. franchisor participants expressing interest in seeking to expand into the Ukrainian market.

Ukraine’s franchising market is gaining momentum with the number of franchising outlets growing consistently year-over-year. The Ukrainian Franchise Group notes that more than 504 franchisors and 19,034 franchise outlets are now operating in Ukraine. And many U.S. and international brands have successfully operated franchise businesses for years.
