REEEAC

In support of U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency manufacturers and services providers, the U.S. Department of Commerce has re-established the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEEAC). The REEEAC shall advise the Secretary regarding the development and administration of programs and policies to expand the competitiveness of U.S. exports of renewable energy and energy efficiency goods and services, in accordance with applicable United States regulations. In total, the 7th Charter of the REEEAC (2022-2024) submitted 8 recommendations to the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Renewal of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee and Solicitation of Nominations for Membership

The Secretary of Commerce approved the renewal of the REEEAC for the next charter (2024-2026). The full REEEAC will meet twice a year in person and twice a year virtually. Participation in monthly virtual subcommittee meetings is also expected for each member. Applications or nominations for members must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on Friday June 14, 2024. After that date, the International Trade Administration (ITA) may continue to accept nominations under this notice to fill any vacancies that may arise. For details on how to submit applications or nominations, and the attendance policy for appointed REEEAC members, please refer to the Federal Register Notice (May 28, 2024).
