Preliminary Affirmative Determinations in the Countervailing Duty Investigations of Ferrosilicon from Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia

On September 4, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its preliminary affirmative determinations in the countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of ferrosilicon from Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia. Commerce is conducting concurrent antidumping duty (AD) investigations of ferrosilicon from Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia and AD/CVD investigations on ferrosilicon from the Russian Federation (Russia).
