NUSA registration is geared towards verifying a Nigerian company’s corporate identify and its operations. During the NUSA verification process, we gather information and knowledge about the Nigerian company.
Additionally, NUSA verification looks at the Nigerian company’s trading and banking references and financial standing as well as their management structure, profile of directors, shareholders/equity, solicitors, transactions etc.
Effectively February 15, 2024 NUSA registration is N150,000.
Please be sure that you do NOT skip any step in submitting your application, as failure to adhere to this directive may result in rejection of your application.
When filling out the NUSA membership application form, please indicate transaction reference number or input the payment date if you don’t have a payment receipt.
You will have to make online bank transfer or cash payment at any branch of the United Bank of Africa (UBA). If you experience difficulty making payment at the bank, please contact any of the following UBA staff:

Upon obtaining confirmation (or receipt) of payment, return to our website and complete the online NUSA application. Please ensure the application is properly filled out, including the receipt number as indicated in the receipt, or input the transaction reference number or the date of payment if you don’t have a payment receipt.
You may also print out the notification message for future reference, in case this becomes necessary.
Please complete and submit the NUSA Registration Form. The form will provide us with basic information about your company to begin processing of your NUSA registration request. It will also enable us to initiate a verification process that would help determine the eligibility of your company for NUSA registration.
Once the completed online form is received, processing and verification would commence. Our office will contact you once this process is completed. By submitting the NUSA application form, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following:
- NUSA applications are usually handled in monthly batches involving internal processing, third-party consultation and fieldwork (verification visits and background checks).
- NUSA verification visits and background checks may be handled by our selected third-party consultants and/or US Commercial Service personnel.
- It may take up to 3 months to complete your application from the time of submission. Applicants will be informed of the progress of their application.
- In the event that your address or other contact information changes during or after registration with NUSA, please endeavor to send us the updated information.
- Incomplete information and/or falsified details will lead to NUSA application denial.
- The NUSA program is not a visa facilitation service. NUSA registration does NOT establish a guarantee to be granted a visa by the consular section.
- Companies registered as ‘Business Name/Sole Proprietorship’ may not be issued membership letters until upgrade.
- NUSA fees are non-refundable nor transferable.
