United Kingdom Defense Announces Program MERCURY
Through program MERCURY, the British Army is seeking to collaborate and engage with industry to identify and develop next-generation technologies and capabilities that will ensure the Army’s operational advantage against the challenges outlined in the British Army’s Land Operating Concept (LOpC).
MERCURY is designed to create the environment for a diverse supplier pool to respond to the Army’s Science & Technology challenges as outlined in the LOpC, and to provide the Army with the opportunity to be a fast follower of technological innovation.
Industry is invited to attend the program MERCURY Interest Day, a conference that will update and engage with industry on program MERCURY and its strategic alignment with NATO and allied forces. By attending the MERCURY Interest Day, you will gain a better understanding of the concepts, development, and timeline of the project.
MERCURY Interest Day will include:
- A briefing from MERCURY program managers on its linkages to the LOpC, to NATO, and to allied forces’ ambitions
- Announcements of Future Industry Workshops that will shape and influence MERCURY’s initial operating model
- Industry engagement and networking opportunities to identify collaborative industry partners
If you would like to attend MERCURY Interest Day or you would like additional information on program MERCURY, please contact PJ Menner at the U.S. Embassy London via PJ.Menner@trade.gov.
