Peru Energy Gas Pipeline Consulting
In an ambitious move to bolster its energy infrastructure, Peru is on the quest to transform its gas transportation system in the southern region through the Integrated Gas Transport System - Southern Zone of Peru project. The initiative, overseen by the Private Investment Promotion Agency, PROINVERSIÓN, signifies Peru’s commitment to harnessing its natural gas resources for economic and social development. As part of this transformative project, PROINVERSIÓN is inviting local and international consulting firms to submit Expressions of Interest for consultancy services aimed at formulating the Pre-investment Study at the Reinforced Profile Level - Stage II of the project.
This venture is not merely an infrastructural upgrade but a strategic move toward optimizing the National System of Multiannual Programming and Investment Management - INVIERTE.PE, aiming to achieve project viability. The call for Expressions of Interest entails the submission of two critical documents: (i) the Letter of Expression of Interest in the Consultancy (Format No. 1), and (ii) the Sworn Statement of Experience (Format No. 2). Interested firms are required to send their Expressions of Interest in PDF format, duly signed, by April 16th to the email proyectositgz-etapaII@proinversion.gob.pe, with consultations accepted until April 12th, 2024.
The Integrated Gas Transport System - Southern Zone of Peru project offers consulting firms in energy infrastructure and project management an excellent chance to work on a project aligned with international standards. It showcases Peru’s dedication to improving its energy sector for sustainable growth, lower costs, and reduced environmental impact, also highlighting Peru as a key market for energy sector investment in Latin America. The invitation for consultancy services signals Peru’s openness to global collaboration, offering firms a meaningful opportunity to influence energy development in southern Peru with wide-reaching benefits.
U.S. consultancies and engineering firms looking to explore this opportunity are invited to contact the U.S. Commercial Service in Lima at Office.Lima@trade.gov, alongside their PROINVERSIÓN submission. CS Lima is available to help organize a virtual meeting to discuss your strategy for this project and to address any questions you might have regarding the PROINVERSIÓN submission process. This is a valuable chance to contribute to Peru’s energy sector and to consider potential growth in Latin America.
