Croatia Invests €651.8 million in Waste Management
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition and the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund have published a plan for project financing tenders in 2025, with a total budget of 651.8 million euros. In the first quarter of 2025, public calls will be launched for financing projects aimed at removing waste from contaminated sites, remediating polluted land, constructing new waste management infrastructure, producing electricity from renewable energy sources for public water service providers and municipal waste collection services, restoring endangered grassland habitats, as well as activities related to applied research, service digitalization, and public data availability.
