Featuring the Province of Manitoba's Critical Minerals Initiatives - Webinar
The U.S. Commercial Service in Canada is proud to host a webinar Introducing the Province of Manitoba’s Critical Minerals Initiatives.
Furthering the objectives of the Roadmap for a Renewed U.S.-Canada Partnership, this program aims to strengthen the U.S.-Canada Action Plan for Critical Minerals Cooperation by exploring the Province of Manitoba’s critical minerals market and its potential contribution to the North American supply chain manufacturing competitiveness.
Manitoba supplies 100 percent of Canada’s cesium, lithium, and tantalum and is home to mines that produce metals including nickel, copper, zinc, and gold. These metals are vital components for manufacturing electronics, specialized batteries, and jet engine parts and are considered an integral part of the North American supply chain for the downstream manufacturing sector.
