Environmental Technologies Trade Dashboard
Environmental Technologies include technologies that prevent or mitigate pollution, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote environmental protection and resource efficiency. The U.S. Environmental Technologies Trade Dashboard is a data visualization tool that provides annual U.S. country-level trade data for the environmental technologies industry, covering the following sectors:
- Air pollution monitoring and control
- Monitoring and instrumentation
- Waste management and recycling
- Water and wastewater treatment
The tool presents annual export data for 126 10-digit Harmonized System (HS) Schedule B codes and annual import data for 67 6-digit HS import codes, which serve as a proxy for the environmental technologies sector as a whole. This tool was developed by the Industry & Analysis’s Office of Energy & Environmental Industries (OEEI) and is intended to help businesses, researchers, and policy makers obtain insights on trade data for environmental goods and services.

Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee
The Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC) advises the Environmental Trade Working Group of the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee on the development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of environmental technologies, goods, services and products.
