Product literature and labeling should be in Arabic and/or in Latin characters.  The labeling should indicate the production and expiration dates, the country of origin, as well as the nature, composition, and quantity of the product in the packaging or container.  The Direction of External Trade Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce and the Mauritanian Chamber of Commerce may provide additional information on labeling and marking requirements.
