Professional services are regulated by their respective bodies.  Lawyers must be admitted to the bar by the judiciary to practice.  The Law Society (Malawi Law Society) and Judiciary oversee professional conduct standards for members of the legal profession.  Additional professional societies include the Malawi Accounts Board (MAB: https://www.mab.mw/), the Nurses and Midwife Council of Malawi (NMCM), medical doctors (Medical Council), and others.
