The government requires importers to obtain formal import authorization (Demande Déscriptive d’Importation – DDI) from the Ministry of Commerce if importing quantities exceeding 12 million GNF (approx. USD 1,250). Importers and exporters can now use the government’s One-Stop-Shop website, (Guichet Unique du Commerce Exterieur), to review import requirements and estimate import duties.
