Licensing Requirements for Professional Services
Last published date:

Many types of businesses are required to have licenses.  A list of activities subject to licensing is provided in the Law on Licensing.  Generally, providers of professional services such as physicians, lawyers, bankers, financial brokers, and auditors are required to hold licenses.  Armenia has carried out significant reforms to simplify requirements and procedures to obtain permits.  Additional information about licensing can be obtained online (https://www.e-gov.am/licenses).

A qualification certificate issued by the Ministry of Finance is required to work as a senior accountant in an organization whose financial accounts are subject to publication and disclosure.  The necessary information regarding qualification procedures is available.
