Rachael Wilde
Rachael Wilde is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Global Operations for the International Trade Administration. In this role, she provides executive leadership and administrative direction for ITA’s Global Markets business unit—a team of more than 1,400 trade professionals stationed across 100 U.S. cities and 80 international markets. This includes overseeing financial management, budget, human capital, acquisitions, and personnel security.
With nearly two decades of public service, Rachael has a wealth of experience in federal financial management and budgeting. She joined the Department of Commerce in 2016 as the Chief of Trade and Information Programs, where she advised the Secretary of Commerce in advancing Departmental priorities and provided program oversight across six bureaus: Bureau of Economic Analysis, Census Bureau, International Trade Administration, Bureau of Industry and Security, National Telecommunications and Information Administration, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She also successfully led the development and implementation a Department of Commerce congressional reporting tool.
Prior to joining Commerce, Rachael served as a Financial Manager with the United States Marshals Service, Department of Justice, where she was responsible for all areas of budget and financial reporting of International Investigative Operations, Criminal Intelligence, and the Adam Walsh Act programs.
Rachael is an avid runner, native of Baltimore, Maryland, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. She holds a BA in Social Psychology from Park University and is an Excellence in Government Fellow and Leadership for a Democratic Society Graduate.
