USA Pavilion Helps Iowa Business Succeed in Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine

Montag Manufacturing, Inc. is a rural Iowa company specializing in the manufacturing of crop fertilization application systems.

Montag Manufacturing focused on increasing export sales in European countries through the 2023 Agritechnica trade show, the largest agricultural equipment show in the world.

The USA Pavilion, managed by a U.S. Commercial Service team, allowed companies to participate in the trade show with the added benefit of market outreach via the Commercial Service’s global network.  Preparation for the USA Pavilion required over a year of planning by a very dedicated U.S. Commercial Service team in the U.S. and in Germany.  As a member of the USA Pavilion, Montag Manufacturing received support before and during the show to maximize their participation and reach the highest number of buyers, as well as post show counseling with the Des Moines Rural Export Center focused on new business development.

As a result of their participation in the USA Pavilion, Montag had export agreements for a combined value of over $1 million for Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine.
