SJE Rhombus Opens the Valve to the Mexican Liquid Level Control Market

 
SJE Rhombus is a Detroit Lakes, Minnesota based manufacturer of liquid level control products serving the water, wastewater and sewage industries. On September 3-5, 2019, U.S. Commercial Service (CS) Commercial Officer Marixell Garcia, Commercial Assistant Alejandra Calderon, Commercial Specialist Claudia Salgado, and Senior Commercial Specialist Francisco Ceron coordinated the participation of twenty U.S. water and environmental companies at the Aquatech Mexico certified trade fair at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.  CS Mexico organized a CS booth at the U.S. Pavilion and a briefing for the U.S. exhibitors, and printed a directory circulated to over two-hundred Water and Environmental companies in Mexico that were invited to visit the show and meet with the U.S. companies.

In preparation for the show, a briefing/call on the Mexican water and environmental sector was provided to SJE Rhombus executives. During the show, SJE Rhombus company executives were introduced to Mexican potential buyers by Commercial Officer Marixell Garcia, Water Specialist Francisco Ceron, Environmental Commercial Specialist Claudia Salgado and Commercial Assistant Alejandra Calderon. There was a new connection made to a Mexican firm through involvement at the show, and sales have been steadily increasing to over $100,000 annually in Mexico with the involvement of in-country Regional Sales Manager Rodrigo Erazo.
