E-Livestock Global Finds Partner in South Africa
E-Livestock Global located in Derwood, MD, uses Blockchain to develop a track and trace model for livestock. In 2023 E- Livestock Global was looking to enter new markets with heavy cattle presences. The U.S. Commercial Service (CS) Baltimore connected with CS South Africa and recruited E-Livestock Global to join the U.S. Networking Center at NAMPO 2023, an agriculture trade show in South Africa, to increase visibility and find partners within the South African and Sub-Saharan region. As a direct result of their presence at the U.S. Networking Center at NAMPO 2023, E-Livestock finalized their partnership agreement with MSD in South Africa. The partnership is valued at $100,000 and will support 5 jobs in the process.
“We simply could not have had the impact and outcomes that we did at NAMPO without the considerable experience, expertise, and support from the U.S. Commercial Service. In addition to providing an outstanding physical venue and initial event company gameplan, they continued over the course of the event to add opportunities and recommendations. From Maryland to the mid-West and to Africa, it has been fantastic to work with the professional people at the U.S. Commercial Service. We look forward to continuing and future collaboration.” - Chris Light, CEO and Founder, E-Livestock Global.
