Vietnam Digital Media

According to business intelligence platform Statista, Vietnam’s digital media market is expected to grow at approximately 12%, with $920 million estimated revenue in 2024, thanks to its high internet and smart phone penetration as well as increasing social media usage by a young, tech-savvy Vietnamese population. Vietnam’s rapidly growing digital media market offers significant commercial opportunities for international suppliers of digital media content and software. A recent DataReportal’s report shows that in January 2024 there were more than 78 million internet users in Vietnam, some 79% of the total 99.2 million population, along with 168.5 million active cellular phone connections and 72.7 million social media users.

U.S. suppliers of digital media content and software may find a receptive market in Vietnam, especially in the following sub-sectors:
