United Kingdom Construction Framework

The UK’s Department of Education published a tender for $9.5bn USD worth of construction works. The deal will span over 4 years and enable the appointed teams to deliver projects across England. The work is considered one of the steps the UK Government is taking to revive post Covid economy.

This framework will include the delivery program and buildings for schools, academies, university technical colleges, sixth form colleges, further education colleges and other educational facilities. There are two high value lots and a number of mid-value and low value lots. The two most significant are capped at $1.7bn for the North and $3.06bn for the South.

The deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is May 2, 2021.
