Uganda National Airlines Publishes an Open International Tender
Uganda Airlines is Uganda’s flagship national passenger and cargo carrier. It provides scheduled passenger and cargo services to destinations in East Africa and has plans to expand its routes to the DRC, Zanzibar, Asmara, Hargeisa, Lusaka, Harare, Johannesburg, Djibouti, and Addis Ababa. Ugandan Airlines plans to add international flights connecting Uganda with cities in Europe, the Middle East, West Africa, and Asia.
The airline has allocated funds and issued an abridged tender notice for the acquisition of Ramp Buses, the Construction of a Main Equipment Shelter at Entebbe International Airport, and Aviation Fuel and Inflight Support services. The tender is open to international bidding. This allows qualified and interested US companies to bid on any of the three categories indicated above.
