Saudi Arabia Personal Data Protection Law
The Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has just released the suggested amendments to the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) on the public consultation platform “Istitlaa,” after taking into consideration the proposed comments and suggestions from industry in the previous iteration of the law draft. All relevant and interested U.S. entities are welcome to review the proposed amendments and to provide their views, comments, observations and suggestions on the document, before the deadline of December 20, 2022.
Next Steps
U.S. organizations that are interested to review the suggested amendments to the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) document and to provide their comments may do so via the public consultation platform Istitlaa.
