Saudi Arabia Design and Construction Roshn Project Opportunities

Roshn is a Saudi national real estate gigaproject launched by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in August 2020 as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The project’s primary goal is to enhance the Saudi housing sector by developing integrated residential communities that offer modern, sustainable, and high-quality living spaces. It aims to improve the quality of life for Saudi citizens, address the Kingdom’s housing needs, and achieve the Vision 2030 target of 70% home ownership by local nationals. Roshn plans to invest over SAR 350 billion ($93.3 billion) over the next decade, creating communities housing over 1.5 million people from all income groups.

Roshn has announced the following projects:

  • SEDRA (Riyadh): An integrated community covering 20 million sqm, featuring over 30,000 homes along with infrastructure and public facilities.
  • WAREFA (Riyadh): A community covering 1.4 million sqm featuring 2,300 new homes, along with mosques, healthcare centers, schools, parks, open spaces, and retail centers.
  • ALAROUS (Jeddah): A community inspired by the historical city of Jeddah, blending modern and traditional architecture. It will cover 4 million sqm and include 18,000 residential units, hospitals, restaurants, and schools.
  • MARAFY (Jeddah): A mixed-use development project accommodating over 130,000 residents. It features a man-made canal, the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia, which will be 11 kilometers long and 100 meters wide.
  • ALFULWA (AlHafouf): A community covering over 10.8 million sqm featuring 18,000 homes, mosques, healthcare centers, schools, parks, open spaces, and retail centers.
