The National Mechanization Program seeks to provide farm machinery equipment and related implements to turn the underutilized government owned land into mechanized farming.
To this end, the GoK is seeking to collaborate with established agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturers with the capacity to mobilize the required resources in supporting this initiative. The program budget is estimated at $215 Million to be financed through concessionary bilateral arrangements.U.S. companies are well-regarded for their reliable and innovative farm equipment and technologies such as tractors, combine harvesters, irrigation equipment implements, and after sale services, which provides a competitive advantage in the Kenyan agricultural marketplace.
