The 16th Eco Expo Asia (EEA) will take place October 27-30, 2021 (Wednesday – Saturday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre as a special one-off arrangement for this edition. The U.S. Commercial Service has been the supporting organization of EEA over a decade. 

Riding on the continued success, Eco Expo Asia will continue to provide an effective trade platform for the global green industry. The 2021 edition will be held under the theme of “Promoting Green Recovery for Carbon Neutrality”. Some of the 2021 highlights include topics such as waste management and recycling solutions to meet new waste reduction targets, the development of local green transportation industry with the publication of Hong Kong Roadmap on popularization of electric vehicles in March 2021, green financing elements, etc. 

By attending the EEA, participating companies can meet with key global players in the environmental protection sector and engage with Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese local governments who implement policies and create business opportunity, particularly in the Greater Bay Area.  

To participate in the EEA 2021, exhibitors can choose between three exhibition packages including onsite, online and hybrid combining the benefits of the physical event as well as dedicated digital services to help find high quality buyers. Under the Hong Kong government’s convention and exhibition industry subsidy scheme, local and overseas companies can enjoy 50% off the participation fee or up to a US$12,820 / HK$100,000 subsidy for Eco Expo Asia 2021.
