HKTVMall offers a compelling online sales channel for U.S. exporters to sell to Hong Kong consumers. With a staggering 300,000 daily app visitors and 1.8 million monthly actively users, the company plays a pivotal role in promoting online shopping in Hong Kong.  The pandemic and prolonged lockdowns helped escalate this trend as consumers permanently shift from physical retail to online shopping.    

The company is looking to aggressively expand the number of SKUs that are available on their platform through the launch of their Overseas Merchant Partnership Program.   To ensure the success of this program, HKTV mall has invested in a 14,400 square meters fully automated 3rd party logistics fulfillment center as an end-to-end warehouse and logistics solution for international merchants.   This investment has the capability to provide service to 100,000 merchant products, fulfilling up to 20,000 orders per day, and offering quick order-to-delivery services.

HKTVmall is hoping to increase the number of same-day delivery service within 8 hours products from 10,000 to 100,000 SKUs in the next three years.  According to their 2023 annual report, the two biggest growth categories are personal care products and pet care.  

To help new merchants introduce their products, HKTVmall can offer promotional solutions such as eDMs, main page recommendation button and targeted promo sites to its customer base. Besides that, they are also focusing on content creation via live video sales, working with key opinion leaders (KOLs), developing a “Add On” order feature by leveraging on big data empowered personalization and a social platform known as Sharehub that allows merchants, consumers, KOLs, content creators to share experiences and opinions.
