Croatia Dental Market Opportunities

The Croatian dental market is growing steadily, supported by dental tourism expansion, increased demand for cosmetic and restorative treatments, and growing investments in private clinics. 

According to ReportLinker, Croatian dental services expenditure is projected to reach $394 million by 2028, up from about $337 million in 2023.  In terms of market segments, dental implants were the largest revenue generating service in 2023, with dental cosmetics being the most lucrative segment, also registering the fastest growth during the forecast period.  The Croatian dental tourism market generated a revenue of $475.1 million in 2023 and is expected to reach $2,003.4 million by 2030.  

With 14 dentists per 10,000 residents, Croatia is the fourth country in Europe by the number of dentists per 10,000 residents, only 4 less than the first-placed Sweden.  The dental market consists mainly of small private dental clinics.  There are but a few large dental clinics.  The largest investor in the dental market in Croatia is Provectus Capital Partners (PCP), through its Adria Dental Group.  Since its foundation in 2021, the Adria Dental Group has become the largest dental group in Croatia, as well as in South and Southeastern Europe, with over 700 employees, 300,000 patients, annual revenue of $63 million.
