China Some Fire Safety Products

On July 16, 2019, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R. China (CNCA) announced that 13 fire-safety products would be removed from China’s Compulsory Certification (CCC) Mark Product Catalog.  The CCC-Certificate is China’s most widely used certification for product quality and safety of imported as well as domestic goods. The updated Catalog became effective immediately. The 13 products removed include:

1.    Fire hoses
2.    Sprinkler products
3.    Fire trucks
4.    Extinguishing agents
5.    Building fire-resistant components
6.    Foam fire extinguishing equipment
7.    Fire protection products 
8.    Fire safety- equipment products  
9.    Water supply equipment for fire-safety
10.    Gas-based fire extinguishing equipment 
11.    Dry powder-based fire extinguishing equipment
12.    Smoke prevention and removal equipment
13.    Communication products for fire safety

In addition, some types of fire alarm products (CCC Product No. 1801) were also removed from the catalog.
