China Liaoning Industrial Solid Waste Market
Solid waste in Liaoning Province includes industrial solid waste, industrial hazardous waste, medical waste, and municipal solid waste.
Liaoning was the fourth largest producer of solid waste in China in 2021. Liaoning is only capable of treating 60% of its annual industrial waste. Local authorities are looking for technologies to improve this capacity. The 14th Five-Year Ecology and Environment Protection Plan for Liaoning Province sets a goal of increasing solid waste treatment capacity by 6 million tons annually.
Opportunities for U.S. companies exist in oil sludge treatment, mine restoration, electronic waste, scrap metal, and large-scale solid waste.
Dalian and Panjin have a need to further develop their oil sludge treatment capacity and are seeking solutions to reduce sludge impact on the environment.
