CHINA LIAONING GREEN POWER MARKET

To realize its climate target, China needs to accelerate the construction of power systems dominated by renewable energy.  In September 2021, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) launched a nation-wide pilot, which included nearly 260 companies from 17 provinces.

An international auto producer in Liaoning Province submitted a purchase order of 2.78 billion KW/h to supply its manufacturing plant for the next four years.

Liaoning Province’s green power trading market will drive demand for green certificates, offshore wind power, solar power, biofuels, wind powered-hydrogen generation, energy storage, and distributed energy.
