China CNCA Adjusts in October 2019

On October 2019, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) announced that 18 products would be removed from the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) Mark Product Catalog.   CCC is China’s most widely used certification for product quality and safety of imported as well as domestic goods. The updated Catalog became effective immediately. The 18 products removed include:

1.    Rail vehicle cables with rated voltages up to and including 3KV 
2.    Screwdrivers and impact wrenches 
3.    Sanders 
4.    Circular saws
5.    Portable A.C. arc welding machines
6.    A.C. arc welding machines
7.    Submerged arc welding machines
8.    Plasma arc welding machines 
9.    Electric shock protective devices for arc welding transformers
10.   Coupling devices for welding cables
11.   Resistance welding machines
12.   Radio receivers
13.   Monitors
14.   Interior materials for motor vehicles
15.   Door lock and door retention components for auto motive vehicles
16.   Safety glass products used in railway rolling stock 
17.   Fixed telephone terminals
18.   Key-Phone systems
