Brazil's Airport Security Solutions

Brazilian Privatized Airports will attend the annual meetings of the Brazilian Association of Airports (ABR) to evaluate a broad upgrade program to improve airport security technologies.

ABR envisions that federally-concessioned airports in Brazil will focus on safety and security solutions.

Brazilian airports will procure equipment such as optical coherence tomography (OCT) scanners, dual-view X-ray scanners, explosive trace detection (ETD), metal detectors, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems, baggage tracking equipment, body scanners, liquid inspection equipment, and automated roller conveyors.

The Airport National Annual Meeting in Brasilia on November 4-5, 2024, will include a meeting for associate members on November 4th, followed by an open event with panel discussions on November 5th where U.S. companies can meet key decision makers to present their technologies.

The event will feature top executives from major Brazilian airport operators, including Aena, BH Airport, CCR Airport, COA Airport, Fraport, GRU Airport, Inframerica, NOA, Pax Airport, RioGaleão, Vinci Airport, Viracopos and Zurick Airport.
