Brazil - Immediate need for Aluminum Scrap Metal
Aluminum is used extensively across industries such as construction, automotive, packaging, and electronics. The country consumes approximately 1.5 to 2.0 million tons of aluminum annually, depending on economic activity and industrial demand.
Brazil is a global leader in aluminum recycling, boasting a can recycling rate of over 95%, which significantly contributes to its aluminum supply for manufacturing. However, demand is rising and already outstripping supply, driven by ongoing industrialization, infrastructure projects, and investments in electric vehicles and renewable energy—the Brazilian aluminum industry is creating opportunities to purchase scrap aluminum materials for local processing.
Known needs include:
- 95-5 profile scrap: 600 tons/month
- Thermal profile scrap: 300 tons/month
- Painted profile scrap: 1,000 tons/month
- Foil scrap: 200 tons/month
