Mission Met, a software company that serves nonprofits and a variety of other organizations with their strategic planning needs based in Athens, Ohio, received a Website Globalization Review (WGR) from the Rural Export Center in Fargo, North Dakota. WGRs provide technical and strategic assessments of a business’s ecommerce sales channel efforts. These SEO-diagnostic services are designed to help companies acquire more international consumers online. Developed by the U.S. Commercial Service’s E-Commerce Innovation Lab, the REC offers this service to rural companies. Mission Met received: 1) an international aesthetics assessment, 2) strengths & weaknesses review, 3) search engine optimization review, 4) comparisons with 3 competitors, 5) simple, free enhancements, and 6) best practices.

“The Rural Export Center was quite helpful to us in determining key strategies and tactics to improve our website’s authority and increase its prominence in international buyer’s minds,” said Ricky Chilcott, one of Mission Met’s founding partners. “Their team worked quickly and provided a detailed report, a rapid yet thorough consultation, and provided great follow up. We are grateful to the team and are looking forward to utilizing their services again as we grow and have greater success in international markets.”

The Rural Export Center continues to partner with CS Cincinnati to provide these services for rural companies.
