Preliminary Determination in Countervailing Duty Investigation of Vertical Shaft Engines 225cc to 999cc from China
On June 16, 2020, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its affirmative preliminary determinations in the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of imports of vertical shaft engines 225cc to 999cc and components thereof (vertical shaft engines) from China.

The petitioner is Coalition of American Vertical Engine Producers, whose members are Kohler Co. (Kohler, WI) and Briggs & Stratton Corporation (Wauwatosa, WI).
