With 14 locations, the University of Houston Texas Gulf Coast SBDC Network is responsible for providing small business assistance to 32 counties throughout Southeast Texas.

If you’re in need of small business assistance, the SBDC advising staff can assist you in various stages of the business life cycle: pre-venture or early stage, startup, expansion, growth and exit.

District Export Councils are organizations of business leaders from local communities, appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, whose knowledge of and expertise in international business provides a source of professional advice for their region’s local firms.

State of Texas - Business and Community Development Division

The Governor’s Business and Community Development Division pursues business expansion and relocation with the goal of developing job creation and export opportunities for Texas. Comprised of three areas, this division is made up of Business Development, Business Assistance, Economic Development Finance.
