State of Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) - The Business Development & Support Division (BDSD) of DBEDT promotes industry development and economic diversification by supporting existing and emerging industries in Hawaii and by attracting new investment and businesses to the state. DBEDT also administers the highly successful Hawaii STEP (HiSTEP) program, which provides small businesses with export training, grant funding to support export activity, and support at international trade shows. https://invest.hawaii.gov/exporting/histep/

Hawaii Foreign Trade Zone #9 - FTZ9 in downtown Honolulu is Hawaii’s hub of international trade, providing infrastructure, on-site support services like Customs Brokers and Shipping Agents, and other resources such as workshops, seminars, and training, at our facility.  FTZ9 operates a customs bonded warehouse, the newly renovated Homer A. Hawaii Pacific Export Council  - The Hawaii Pacific Export Council (HPEC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of local leaders and experienced international business professionals who provide assistance to local businesses expanding in international markets. We provide workshops on international trade topics, provide export mentoring, and administer grant programs that support exporters.
