The Office of Finance and Professional Services (FPS) leads and implements policy and trade promotion workstreams impacting the competitiveness of U.S. finance, insurance, and professional services industries. This includes providing analysis and support for U.S. multilateral financing for U.S. exports and development, fostering sustainability across all services industries, facilitating the growth and development of innovative and inclusive segments of finance, representing the Department in bilateral and multilateral trade and global forums, and seeking worker focused approaches to competition challenges.
DOC is the only US Government Agency assisting U.S. insurers and reinsurers in expanding export markets for insurance.
