The Office of Energy and Environmental Industries (OEEI) advances U.S. competitiveness by leveraging in-depth sector expertise to coordinate public-private responses. We are dedicated to advancing global competitiveness through the development and execution of international trade and investment policies and promotion strategies. The Office of Energy and Environmental Industries includes our Energy and Climate and Environmental Teams.

OEEI Accomplishments

OEEI completed development of the Climate & Clean Technology Resources Directory and formally launched it to coincide with the release of the National Export Strategy on June 29, 2023. The purpose of the Climate and Clean Technology Resources Directory is to provide a comprehensive platform for industry to obtain information about the tools and resources that the U.S. government provides to support U.S. climate and clean technology businesses and support U.S. competitiveness in these sectors. The resources directory highlights U.S. government programs to assist companies both with domestic market-building activities such as research and development and commercialization, as well as international-focused trade and market expansion activities.
