About the PAC-DBIA

The President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA) was established in November 2014 to advise the President, through the Secretary of Commerce, on ways to strengthen commercial engagement between the United States and African countries. Members are selected from small, medium, and large U.S. companies across the United States representing a diverse range of industries and economic sectors to serve two-year terms.

November 2024 marked the 10-year anniversary of the PAC-DBIA. To commemorate this milestone, the 2022-2024 term of the PAC-DBIA produced a 10-Year Review Report, summarizing the activities and impacts on U.S.-Africa commercial engagement of the PAC-DBIA over a decade of advising the President of the United States.
